What is the church's address and service times?

Zion's address is 90 Leonard Ave., East Providence, RI.  Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 am and Wednesday Evening. @ 7 pm.   

Is there a nursery & children's church?

Yes!  All of our child-care workers are certified as “child-safe volunteer” by our staff.  Childcare for ages 0-5 is available from 10:30 until the end of the service.  Kids for Christ (ages 6-10) Soldiers For Christ (ages 10-13) immediately during the offering time.

Yes!  We provide free transportation to all of our weekly church services and even some of our special events.  Call our office (401.435.6900) during business hours to schedule your pick up.  If you are calling when our office is closed, call Mark @ 401.390.8231.

What should I expect?

Our Sunday service begins at 10:30 with Christ-centered, celebratory Gospel music.  Our music is about Him and to Him, while preaching is about Him to us.  As Pentecostal's, we believe that the Holy Spirit is actively working in every believer and invite him to do so throughout our service.  Therefore, times of prayer for special needs, salvation, and re-commitment are likely to accompany Pastor Doug’s preaching.

What should I bring?

Bring your Bible, but if you don’t have one see one of our ushers and they will give you a free one!  The clothes you’re wearing aren’t as important as wearing them!  Some prefer suits and ties and others come in jeans.

When do you take communion?

We encourage every Christian to partake of our communion services (Eucharist) on the first Sunday of each month.  This is the Sunday that we collect our missions offering to support the missionary efforts around the world that our church partners with.
