Olga cared for many ill and shut-in patients. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and various other community organizations. Olga was also a nurse in Panama before arriving in Providence. Once here, she worked at Prospect Manor Nursing Home and did private care for various patients over the years. She was also a Lab Technician for Providence Health Centers. She also was a girl scout leader. Olga was a member of Zion Gospel Temple in East Providence.
She was the beloved mother of Horacio Sanchez, Horacio Spragg, Isaac Spragg, Guillermina Sanchez, and Norma Brooks. Sister of Horacio Spragg, and Jean Spragg-Gondola. Grandmother of 12 and Great Grandmother of 8. She was genuinely known for caring for her family. Olga was predeceased by her loving brothers Federico and Eduardo Spragg and her grandson Brandon Farman. Her visitation will be held Monday, April 26, 2021, in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 11 am to 12 pm, followed by a service at 12pm. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery. Face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.
