Ed was a tool maker for Kennametal Company of Cranston before he retired. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan. He was loved very much by his family, his friends and his Church. Ed loved being around people, and he loved the Lord with all his heart.
When the church doors were open you would always find Ed there. He loved going to Sunday school, Men's meetings, Wednesday Evening Services, Friday morning prayer. He always looked forward to our annual Men's Retreat at Pilgrim Pines NH, and whenever special speakers came to the church, he was there.
Besides his wife, Ed leaves behind a closely devoted family,
two sisters, his 94 year old sister Louise McDaniels of London WV and Phyllis Evans of Fort Washington, MD, stepchildren Marcellino “Butch” Cabral, Alicia Alexander, Dexter Alexander and Revelie Niles, two grandchildren, Josh, Epiphany, Taylor and Jasmine, one great grandchild, Jezreen Alexander, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ernestine Murry, Dorothy Jackson and William Jackson.
